The Polk County College/Commerce Center will create numerous jobs. On the college side there will be 40-50 full and part-time jobs. This will include a college center director, office staff, teaching staff, both for the day and night classes, and a maintenance crew for the College/Commerce Center complex.

 Approximately 100 jobs will result from the construction phase of the project including the general contractor, sub contractors, engineers and architects, site preparation crews, landscapers, etc.
